Ladies beware, this helmet is very snug and can make things sound as if you were scuba diving. It’s sturdy but also really heavy. I’d try it on first.

And what I think Lex means by that is gentlemen should beware, too. ;-)

All helmets fit differently, and one person’s ‘snug’ could be another person’s headache. Snug is good if it fits properly. Since I always wear a full-face helmet, this helmet may seem a lot less like a scuba diver than others since more of my head is exposed.

I’d recommend always trying on any helmet in person if possible before ordering (or better yet, supporting your local dealer who may be able to help you find the just-right helmet for you). If a helmet sizing is small, then try a size up. There are other brands that have weird sizing, too, so it’s always best to give it a try first.

A good article about helmet choice and sizing is here:

My wife rides with this helmet and likes it quite a bit. The quality is a cut above many similarly-priced 3/4 helmets on the market.

Also, the N30 has become the most popular new scooterist helmet in the L.A. area. Seems like every other rider I see wears one!
