Kimberly sent in a photo of her Vespa GT 200 and one with its friend Kermit. She writes:
“I am the proud owner of Pinky, the only pink Vespa GT200 in Central Florida! She and her brother Kermit cause trouble and turn heads on the streets in Cocoa, Florida. She is a fair-weather scooter. We mostly ride for fun, but in these high gas prices she might be increasing her practicality with me gently riding her to work.
“I had her custom painted as a Christmas present in 2006. Her original color was grey. It is a pearlescent pink, which doesn’t show very well in my photos. I have since added replacement reflectors to her topcase and a new exhaust system. I also have the matching Vespa Helmet! I have had offers to purchase her, but I plan to keep her the rest of her life…”

How funny! Another Vintage Green GT200 named Kermit! I also am an owner of a green GT200, named Kermit! (Well, I was, since I sold it a couple of months ago.) I frequent the Modern Vespa forum, and the Scooter Diva forum, under the user name “Kermit”, for my late scooter. Hopefully, its new owner is enjoying it as much as I did. I’ve upgraded to an Aprilia Scarabeo 500ie. The two scooters look great together!
