Courtney – Vespa rider, designer, blogger and owner of an extraordinarily photogenic dog – gave me permission to post this photo of her modeling her new pink Nolan helmet. She told me this story of how she chose it:
“Funny story, I had originally ordered the same helmet in lava grey with a cream stripe. When I went to pick it up, they had ordered a bunch of different helmets and this matte light pink one was sitting across the room…I swooned. I think I was especially drawn to the subtle matte pale, pale color and the pink looks like frosting. Like cupcake frosting with a beautiful celery green stripe down the center – also very pale.”
Thanks for letting me post the photo, Courtney!

sweet, like to color combo.
Crystal – Thanks so much for this fun post! Each time I wear my very practical and functional helmet, it’s now such a moment of whimsy thanks to the pink. Such fun!
Now Courtney needs to take her Vespa “FraGilee” to the next level….perhaps the pink leopard skin seat cover might give her a new avenue to travel?!?
That’s so funny. I have the same model scooter, down to color, and I was looking at that helmet in pink too! Seeing that they go so well together is definitely influencing my decision-making now.
That is a photo of one happy girl!!
When I purchased my Vespa LX50 in light blue on Memorial Day, I had the dealership special order this helmet for me in pink.
I am know around town as either blue scooter lady or pink scooter lady.
I have light pink timberland boots I wear that match the helment perfectly.
I love this helment!
