“Crystal,

“Here are some pictures of my 2007 Honda Metropolitan, pink hibiscus special edition.  I received the scooter as a birthday gift from my hubby.  I had a Honda motorcycle as a teenager and riding again gives me such joy.  I bought a few accessories to pimp my ride and it has been great fun decorating my beloved new toy!

“The decals were purchased from Hawaii at Decal Dragons and Stuck on Maui.  They are on my rear trunk and helmet.  The pink polka dot basket liner, monogrammed with ‘HONDA’ is from Pottery Barn Kids.  The wicker basket gives the scoot an island vibe that goes with the hibiscus flower panels.  I have a chrome license plate holder with bling, swarovski crystals, that I got on Ebay.  I have a pink Honda baseball hat with hibiscus flowers embroidered on it.  As you can see, I’m having too much fun shopping for my scoot!”

This Vespa GT cover is one of the many pink dalmation scooter seat covers I made this summer. One of my favorite personal pink scooter seat covers is pink dalmation, and is seen in one of this site’s banner images.

Yesterday’s post was so popular that I had to post another scooter seat cover. This summer really has been the summer of the pink scooter seat cover, and this is one of my favorites – a pink flames cover for a Genuine Buddy.

Here’s a gratuitous post – but I just love it so I have to post it. This one is a pink camo scooter seat cover for a classic Yamaha Vino 50.

Accenting her plum Vespa LX are a pink jeweled Hello Kitty window cling from Target, a pink silhouette of a woman holding a helmet, and a charming miniature pink bicycle basket on the back.

Her pink gear includes a HJC CL-SP Type O helmet (she writes, “I bought it after reading about it on girlbike…”) and a pink Cortech LNX jacket.

Before you get too excited about this scooter, Big Ass Motors informs me that they are sold out. But the cool thing is that even you can put rhinestones and a tiara on your scooter, whether it’s pink or not.

Each individual PrinCESS (I was told to stress the CESS – plus there’s a heart instead of a dot over the i) started out as a 150cc Baron, and each was personalized with rhinestones and custom upholstery. So besides all the shiny chrome that came with it, there were shiny decorative faux diamonds abound. Specs and more photos can be found on the BAM web site.

So get out your glue gun and your Bedazzler and make your scooter shine! Or just stick these all over it.
