Dedicated to pink scooters, accessories, gear, news and essentials (like pink scooter t-shirts and pink scooter salt and pepper shakers), I plan to cover everything from current available scooters and accessories, to just plain super cool photos of riders with their scooters, decked out in pinkness.
This site is published by me, Crystal Waters, founder/publisher of girlbike.com, scooterfix.com, scootgreen.com, and a few other scooter-related and non scooter-related blogs. I own the company scooter seat covers, and I was formerly one of the official Vespa bloggers.
why pink?
In some cases, pink scooters or accessories are for a cause, like the Schwinn Hope 50 and 150 that I wrote about on the site. In others, it’s just for the sheer fun of it. While the whole pink thing is frivolous to some, I know that for other scooterists, finding a pink helmet or pink jacket was what first inspired them to buy safety gear. Plus, hot pink is highly visible, and that’s a good thing out there on the road.

Many thanks to Fly Scooters for permission to use the image of its pink IL Bello scooter as one of the images in the scootpink banner. Photo of the Genuine Stella is from a scooter seat covers customer, Shiloh. The Schwinn Hope 50 and Hope 150 photos courtesy of Schwinn Motor Scooters. The pink hibiscus Honda Metropolitan photo is courtesy of scooterist reader Angie Petri. The photo of the gorgeous Vespa GTS with the pink shag scooter seat cover and backrest is complements of Scott and Caroline Rossetti. That sexy silver Vespa ET with the pink dalmation scooter seat cover is my Vespa ET4, Rosa.
If you’d like to see all the images I’m talking about, reloading a page makes the banners rotate randomly.
